First steps for those exploring our ministry.
Who is Rachel's Cry Ministries for?
Rachel’s Cry is for anyone carrying the silent grief of abortion, miscarriage, stillbirth, crib death, or inner-womb trauma — whether the loss was last week or decades ago. You can explore each ministry here.
I don't know where to begin. What's the first step?
The simplest step is to reach out. Visit our Find Support page or send a message through Contact Us. Lynne personally responds to every inquiry.
How our pathways of healing actually work.
How does personal counseling work?
Sessions are offered by phone, Zoom, or in person depending on your location and comfort. Each session is Spirit-led and tailored to where you are in your journey — there is no rigid script or fixed program length.
What happens at a Rachel's Lament Retreat?
Our weekend retreats are small, Christ-centered gatherings combining group teaching, personal counseling, and worship. We walk through acknowledgement, surrender, emotional release, and restoration — followed by five weeks of optional Zoom calls for continued care.
What is an Evening of Prayer?
An Evening of Prayer is a tender memorial service where you honor the baby you lost in an atmosphere of love and understanding. Many find it to be a holy turning point.
Can my church host a speaking engagement?
Yes. Lynne speaks at churches, conferences, retreats, and small groups across the country. Reach out to discuss dates and format.
Your story is safe with us.
Is everything I share confidential?
Yes. Every conversation, session, and retreat is held in strict confidence. Your story is never shared without your explicit permission.
I'm not sure I'm ready to talk. Is that okay?
Absolutely. Many people begin by reading testimonies or visiting in prayer before they ever pick up the phone. Move at the pace that feels right — we will meet you there.
Do I need to be a Christian to receive care?
No. Rachel’s Cry is rooted in faith, but our care is offered freely to anyone seeking healing. We meet you with compassion regardless of where you are spiritually.
Ways to walk with us.
How can I support the ministry financially?
Visit our Donate page to give a one-time or recurring gift. Rachel’s Cry is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and every gift is tax-deductible.
Can I volunteer or partner with Rachel's Cry?
Yes — we welcome partners in prayer, hospitality at retreats, and church liaisons. Send us a note through the contact form and we’ll find a place that fits your gifts.
How can I stay encouraged between visits?
Read Lynne’s blog and the testimonies of those who have walked this road before you.
We would be honored to hear from you.
Every conversation is confidential, gentle, and held with the deepest care.
