Why "Rachel's Cry"?
The naming of our ministry is taken directly from the Prophet Jeremiah, who chronicled Rachel weeping for her children, refusing comfort because they are gone. There is a sacred integrity to this: we acknowledge that some griefs are so profound that quick words, simple platitudes, or advice feel like a violation. Our ministry honors that “cry” without rushing it.
Yet, the passage does not end in sorrow. In the verses that immediately follow, God responds: “Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded… there is hope for your future.” Our mission is to walk beside you from that initial refusal of cheap comfort, all the way to the gentle break of restoring hope.

“Our goal is to design peer-led study groups that maintain high guidelines of group safety and confidentiality. We strive to create a safe place. In these small, tender circles of shared trust, we find that the power of shame is broken, and real healing can take root.”
Our Values
Absolute Confidentiality
We never report, log, or distribute group transcripts. Intakes are guarded carefully, and names are protected with sacred confidence.
Shared Peer Support
Walk alongside others, who have experienced identical heartbreaks, therefore avoiding isolation within themselves.

Executive Director
Lynne was ordained and licensed as a healing minister in 2006. She holds a bachelor's degree in theology from Christian Life School of Theology. She is a healing minister at the Healing Ministries of Greensboro, where she was trained by Cal Pierce of the International Healing Rooms of Spokane, Washington.
She resides in North Carolina with her husband Dave and daughter Elizabeth.
